ASICS SportStyle has been on fire lately – first the Thom Browne collaboration and now they’ve tapped London based jewellery label Completedworks. The debut collaboration brings a sculptural sensibility to one of the brand’s most technical silhouettes. Launching under ASICS’ Crafts for Mind initiative, the project reworks the archival GEL-KAYANO 20, blurring the line between high performance footwear and delicate ornamentation.

Handcrafted in Completedworks’ London studio, the limited edition sneakers apply the brand’s poetic design language to shoe’s utilitarian base. Available in black and white colorways, each pair features mismatched gems, pearlescent bows, and floral detailing, creating a deliberate contrast between function and femininity. Founder and artistic director Anna Jewsbury describes the collaboration as an exploration of ornateness and softness within the structure of everyday footwear.

Beyond the visual statement, this collaboration carries a charitable component with a portion of proceeds going to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s Community Programme, supporting artist led initiatives focused on mental wellbeing. Due to the intricate hand applied embellishments, the sneakers are considered art pieces and are intended to be worn with great care.

Set t0 launch February 21 at 2 p.m. GMT exclusively through Completedworks, priced at $300 USD and later at Dover Street Market London, Dover Street Market Paris and Ginza scheduled for March.
