LOEWE has announced actor Isla Johnston as the first Brand Ambassador under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Johnston, best known for her breakout performance in The Queen’s Gambit, has built a career guided by curiosity and character, favoring nuanced, intuitive roles over spectacle.

“Becoming a LOEWE Brand Ambassador means stepping into the world of fashion with a House full of people I adore! It’s a real honour to witness Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez bringing their visions to life, and to be invited into that journey is incredibly special.”

Her upcoming projects, including Baz Luhrmann’s Joan of Arc and the supernatural thriller The Carpenter’s Son where she stars opposite Nicolas Cage, continue to showcase her bold and thoughtful approach to storytelling. For Johnston, LOEWE represents a similar creative freedom. “It’s rare to have both the resources to create and an audience that genuinely celebrates creativity. I see my own journey reflected in that of the House,” Johnston explains.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez describe Johnston as embodying the LOEWE ethos: “Her energy is swift and palpable; her beauty luminous and unconstructed. Striking yet effortless, Isla belongs to a new generation of actors: spontaneous, talented, and dynamic.”

With Johnston as ambassador, LOEWE signals a chapter defined by openness, experimentation, and a shared celebration of craft and individuality.
