There’s a particular kind of elegance that doesn’t announce itself. It drifts in the sea air, lives in gestures rather than statements, and reveals itself slowly, best understood in hindsight. With its Spring Summer 2026 campaign, Italian Stories, Tod’s returns to this idea, offering a meditation on what it means to live well, rather than simply dress well.
Set in the beautiful Amalfi Coast photographed by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign unfolds at the Torre della Limonaia in Maiori, a place where time seems to stretch and soften. The images linger on intimacy: friends gathered poolside against the Mediterranean blue, moments suspended between laughter and stillness
Under the creative direction of Kevin Tekinel and Charles Levai, McLellan’s lens captures craftsmanship into feeling, what Tod’s has long done best. The clothes and accessories appear almost incidental at first, woven naturally into the rhythm of the day. The Gommino loafer reimagined as a sabot moves effortlessly between leisure and intention, its iconic pebble sole a quiet marker of heritage rather than nostalgia while the Red Dot sneaker, grounds the story in modernity, while the T Timeless bag and the feather-light Pashmy jacket speak to Tod’s mastery of materials.
Since Matteo Tamburini’s appointment as creative director, Tod’s has sharpened its vision of contemporary refinement, and this campaign feels like a confident continuation of that path. There’s no urgency here, no trend-chasing. Instead, the campaign frames luxury as something accumulated over time through relationships, travels, rituals, and a devotion to craft that’s passed down.
