To help bring the Dior Spring-Summer Haute Couture collection to life, Jonathan Anderson‘s first couture collection for the brand, Dior’s creative and image director Peter Philips focused on creating fresh and radiant skin. Spectacular fabric flowers were framed around faces, with some models completely concealed by long lavender-coloured bangs.

“I kept the skin nude and luminous in pearlescent nuances, adapted to each girls individual skin tone. I just curled the lashes and gently enhanced the eyebrows, we kept the lips hydrated and luminous using Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil,” said Philips.

The makeup was radiant and youthful, the subtle luminescence on the cheeks and lips giving an ethereal feel that complemented the sculptural dresess. To get that fresh complexion, Philips said he cleansed the skin with La Mousse OFF/ON, then prepped the skin with Dior Capture Le Sérum, followed by Dior Capture La Crème Fine. The subtle shimmer was created by applying the pearlescent Dior Forever Glow Luminizer “to suit each model’s skin tone.” The eyes stayed bare, except for an eyelash curl and a slight emphasis on the brows with Diorshow On Set Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler.

Philips kept the nails au naturel, prepping them with Dior Le Baume, then Dior Top Coat and Dior Nail Glow. To keep the nails and cuticles nourished, Huile Abricot was applied.

The look for spring was clear: let your natural beauty bloom.
