Piet and Oakley are back with a new collaboration that distills their shared fascination with time, memory, and innovation. Arriving on November 15 at the Piet flagship store and Oakley’s Morumbi Shopping location, and rolling out more widely on November 19, the drop revisits Oakley’s archives through Pedro Andrade’s distinctly Brazilian design lens. The result is a collection that feels uncovered from the past yet engineered for what comes next.

Liam MacRae photographed the campaign at the iconic Oakley Bunker in California, a space never before opened to collaborators. MacRae, known for his work with Stone Island and Stüssy and collaborating with a Brazilian brand for the first time, brings a cinematic intensity that mirrors the collection’s post-apocalyptic mood.

Within the lineup, several pieces stand out. The Plantaris sunglasses introduce a sharp, futuristic silhouette. The long-requested Oakley Dog Tag is released to the public for the first time after years as a staff-only item. Sneakers featuring the Nail sole return with Piet’s reinterpretation, while leather jackets draw inspiration from early 2000s Oakley designs. Double-layer T-shirts connected only at the neckline allow wearers to play with proportions, and weathered fabrics reinforce the theme of time passing.

The palette centers on earthy colours, including olive, brown, beige, and off-white, with select uses of black and natural leather. These tones support an aesthetic that blends motorsport energy with retro sensibilities. The use of the nano logo and the intentional aging of materials reflect a more refined and authorial direction for the partnership, which Pedro Andrade considers the most developed Piet x Oakley edition to date.

To mark the launch, the brands will host a small archive exhibition featuring historical Oakley pieces and Piet’s previous collaborations. The installation reinforces the idea that the dialogue between past and present continues to fuel the partnership’s creative evolution.

The collaboration lands at a moment of heightened visibility for Piet. After closing São Paulo Fashion Week at the Pacaembu Stadium in front of more than six thousand people, the label’s role as a connector of fashion, art, and urban culture has never been clearer. This latest Oakley partnership extends that momentum into a collection that honours history while imagining the future.
