Fred again.. has turned his USB002 tour into more than a series of club nights by partnering with Apple Music to turn entire performances into global events. On October 24, he performed at Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon alongside Floating Points and Caribou, with Apple Music streaming the set live on Apple Music 1, allowing people around the world to connect with the mood in real time. The Lyon performance is now available as a nearly five-hour DJ mix on Apple Music, featuring Spatial Audio, which allows listeners to experience every detail as if they were standing in the crowd.

In Lyon, the energy was electric. The audience reacted to Fred’s improvisation, pulsing with every build and release, while a kinetic stage installation of shifting fabric designed by Boris Acket moved in time with the music. Apple Music captured all of this and made it available on demand in Spatial Audio, preserving the atmosphere, the nuances of the bass, the space, and even the sounds of the crowd.
On Wednesday, November 12, Apple Music dedicated its Apple Music Club radio to the Lyon set, broadcasting it continuously from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM PT in a 12-hour marathon that allowed listeners worldwide to tune in and experience the night exactly as it unfolded.
What started in Lyon became part of a wider Apple Music collaboration with Fred again.. Each USB002 performance from now on is streamed live on Apple Music 1 and then released in Spatial Audio, allowing fans to revisit them in full fidelity. The next chapter of the tour brought Fred again.. to Toronto, where he played at Hangar 5 YZD. That show was also broadcast live on Apple Music 1, giving fans everywhere the chance to connect with the scale and emotional depth of USB002. By streaming the performances live and preserving them in Spatial Audio, Fred and Apple Music are redefining what live electronic music can feel like in a streaming age, bridging the intensity of the shows with the experience of listeners around the world.
Listen to the Lyon set now, and stay tuned for the Toronto one.
