Automobili Lamborghini has announced the newest chapter in its legendary history with the upcoming release of the Urus SE, the first hybrid plug-in Super SUV. The Urus SE features a new design with optimized aerodynamics—basically Lamborghini’s attempt at making an SUV both cool and fast! The SE features a suite of new onboard technology plus an 800 CV hybrid powertrain. Because it is a hybrid supercar, it features “two hearts” for its speed and power: thermal combustion with a 4L V8 engine and zippy electric.

The Urus SE’s performance and efficiency set a new benchmark for the brand. The super SUV can travel over 40 miles / 64 kilometres in electric mode. The twin-turbo 4L V8 engine paired with the electric motor produces a combined output of 790 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque and a top speed of almost 200 mph / 320kph. The exterior boasts a new hood, updated front grille and matrix LED headlight clusters, which take their inspiration from the Lamborghini Revuelto.

On the inside, there is a 12.3-inch touchscreen display in the center of the dashboard which features a new version of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) that’s more intuitive to use with updated graphics. The Lamborghini Centro Stile designers also focused on the air vents, the anodized aluminum trim elements with the unmistakable Y shape, and the new panel, seat, and dashboard coverings. The mechanical pushbutton panel gives a more tactile feel, like being in a vehicle from the future!
