Memphis country-punk outfit Lucero came to Toronto’s The Opera House last night in support of their 2015 record All A Man Should Do.
After several tours with an accompanying horn section, this was a more stripped down affair with the band pared back to a 5 piece. With a set list that covered the entirety of their lengthy career, the band was happy to give the crowd what they wanted, segueing into shouted requests throughout the set. Opening the tour were the stellar Banditos, with a new album dropping Friday they ran through tracks both old and new, and made a definite impression on the audience with their set.
