With Ti Amo dropping on Friday, Phoenix have shared the video to their latest single, “Goodbye Soleil.”
On the track, the Parisian alternative group continues to demonstrate their affinity for cheerful synth melodies, a theme repeated for all the released tracks on the album so far. The song’s code-mixed title translates as “Goodbye Sun,” and its beachy sun-drenched visual is a fitting accompaniment. As promised in the band’s initial album announcement, European and Latin inspirational themes, as well as retro imagery are persistently used.
