During heat waves like this we can only dream of the cooler temperatures (not air conditioning silly) of fall and this Wren lookbook has us drawing conclusions about heavily trending back-to-school prep chic style.
We love what Melissa Coker has done here, taking traditional prep looks and making them into an edgy yet casual downtown cool. She’s come quite a long way from her Lake Forest, Illinois beginnings, interning at Helmut Lang, and writing for Vogue, Details, and W, and starting her brand in 2007.
Named after Jenny Wren in the Dickens’ classic Our Mutual Friend, Wren pays tribute to all its muses in the many collections to date and those to come.
