Mykki Blanco and Cakes Da Killa brought ‘The Stunt Queen’ tour to Toronto’s Velvet Undergound as a Valentine’s Day treat for all involved.
Each artist chose to use a bare bones stage set up, and then proceeded to perform most of their sets while surrounded by the audience. The show quickly heated up, and the audience moved en mass and danced through both sets with an impressive amount of energy. It was hard not to leave feeling inspired, having seen to different but equally impressive rappers at such an early stage in their careers.
