Saturday night, Natalie Mering’s psychedelic chamber-folk act Weyes Blood played a soul shaking set at Toronto’s new venue, Garrison spin off; Baby G. Dressed-up for the Halloween season as a retired Sailor Moon character, Mering’s set was haunting as she played songs off her new album Front Row Seat To Earth. The vibe was quiet yet emotionally stirring, as Weyes Blood’s music filled the room like a gust of wind. 
Closing with the gorgeous “Generation Why“, Mering had the room under her spell as she brought the night to a close, giving us chills.
