Alessandro Michele does it again. Last winter he set the scene for SS16 in a Berlin subway station then took it to Japan for FW16. This summer’s Gucci Snapchat takeover by legendary British actress Vanessa Redgrave makes a lot of sense now as Michele shares Gucci’s Cruise 2017 ad campaign. The 79-year old actress is featured prominently in the latest campaign alongside models Hannelore Knuts, Ellen De Weer, Sophia Friesen, Nika Cole, Dwight Hoogendijk, Nick Fortna, Conner Rowson and Victor Kusma.
The campaign was shot by Gucci photographer Glen Luchford at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, England. You might recognize the setting if you watched Kiera Knightley’s Pride & Prejudice, representing Mr. Darcy’s Pemberley. The campaign uses the beautiful interiors, compliments of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, as well as the idyllic grounds.
You can see the models frolicking in the English countryside and lounging in parlors below. Luchford shot an accompanying video you can see above.
Take us on vacation with you, Alessandro.
