Nike design dream team, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, affectionately known as HTM, have been working their way through the Converse line of shoes. Having already reworked the Chuck Taylor All Star Modern and the Auckland Racer, the Nike trio is turning their attention to the Converse Jack Purcell. Giving the JP that “Modern” treatment, the shoe is made with a premium leather upper, embossed HTM branding across the tongue and finished with a touch of light grey instead of the usual blue for the silhouette’s signature “smile.”
The JP HTM will be available in both black and white colourways and drops tomorrow, September 8, at NikeLab stores and nikelab.com.
