You read the headline correctly: Mike D, Michael Diamond, one third of what was once the Beastie Boys, has released a line of accessories and tees in collaboration with accessory designer Clare Vivier. Mike claims that he decided to pursue design due to the fact that he was a grown man carrying around a backpack, and he wanted to carry something more sophisticated. The MDCV Collection features different types of receptacles for everything Mike totes around with him on the daily: a passport, sunglasses, keys, toiletries, your laptop, etc. and features the MDCV x Nixon watch as well. The line focuses on simplicity and functionality and although targeted to men, the stylish pieces can clearly be used by all genders.
