The announcement of Zayn Malik on the cover of DAZED’s third and final Summer 2016 issue came at the same time as the singer backing out of his commitments at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in the UK. While famous in the States, he has a much larger following in his home country. It should have been a celebratory time for the singer and his fans. Malik, who has often spoken about his anxiety since leaving One Direction, posted a message on his social media accounts apologizing to fans about his inability to go on.
Despite that setback, his DAZED cover and spread is pretty sick. Photographed by Collier Schorr, Malik is rocking some pretty enviable pieces here. He wore a studded Marc Jacobs jacket on the cover as well as Louis Vuitton and Raf Simons in the spread. Check out the interview here and the shoot below.
