Berlin-based photo app EyeEm just launched the third issue of their magazine. EyeEm By Women is shot entirely by female photographers in over 40 countries, curated largely from within the app – which also allows users to sell their photos to brands like Airbnb, Spotify, Abode, and more.
Dubbed as “a collection of real photography,” there is only one objective: to celebrate women in the arts.
It will come as no surprise – within the industry or the newsstand – that women are underrepresented beyond one-dimensional consumerism. EyeEm By Women explores the value of women in contemporary photography and the world at large, showcasing their work and their visual stories. The talents featured here, aged 15 to 55, compose a stunning picture of real portrayals of women around the world. There’s also a special Digital Supplement, which extends the issue beyond print with new content.
