American heritage brand Woolrich Woolen Mills has partnered with Almond Surfboards & Designs to create an unexpected and unique capsule collection. The “Wax & Wool” collection offers an array of pieces including graphic tees, crewneck fleece, twill shorts, beach blankets, and hats, all of which are made in the U.S. However, the real centrepiece, the gem of the collection is an unlikely and somewhat weird custom surfboard hand-shaped by Almond using graphics inspired by Woolrich. The board features the classic buffalo check, a topographic print of the Allegheny Mountains which surround the Woolrich Woolen Mill, and an all over “surfing sheep” custom logo created for the collaboration. Pretty sick!
The collection will be available at Woolrich and Almond Surfboards, or in-store at Woolrich locations in New York and Boston.
