Hot off the release of their NWO Fall/Winter sunglasses collection, RETROSUPERFUTURE® has released their optical counterpart. The NWO optical collection fuses technological research with classical style as well as formal virtuosity with uncompromising functionality. Featuring a series of six silhouettes, plainly named Numero 01, Numero 02, Numero 03, Numero 11, Numero 12 and Numero 14, and rendered in two opposite yet complimentary materials the Bureau Crystal and Bureau Black.
The silhouettes Numero 01, Numero 02 and Numero 03 were done in Bureau Crystal, a crystal clear acetate which is completely transparent and give the frames an airy, weightless feel to them. While the Numero 01, Numero 02, Numero 03, Numero 11, Numero 12 and Numero 14 silhouettes were rendered in Bureau Black, a porous and smooth black matte acetate over gun metal hardware that gives the frames an appealing simplicity and rigorous functionality all in one.
