Today in our On The Rise series, we’re shining a light on Pixx, the ripe young 19-year-old singer songwriter from London. Signed to 4AD, Pixx, aka Hannah Rogers, is a country girl at heart and product of renowned performing arts college The Brit School. Her dreamy lo-fi sound is inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Aphex Twin, Mac Demarco, Ariel Pink, Bob Dylan and more.
She released her debut EP entitled Fall In earlier this year in August and since then we’ve had the four tracks in current rotation. You might have even heard the title track “Fall In” on our July mixtape, but if not, don’t sweat it, we’ve got the video right here.
Watch below as Pixx vibes out on a dreary deserted beach with the lyrics to “Fall In” penned all over her face.
Give a listen to “A Way To Say Goodbye” as well.
Be sure to follow Pixx on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and pick up her debut EP Fall In on Apple Music now and stay tuned for more from this rising artist.
On The Rise is our spotlight series on new and emerging artists. We last featured Hinds. Stay tuned for next week’s On The Rise artist!
