The Purple One announced today that his new album HITnRUN: Phase One is out on September 7th exclusive on Tidal. Prince removed his catalogue from all other streaming services except Jay-Z’s platform. Read is statement below.

If that’s what freedom feels like, HITNRUN is what it sounds like.
One Prince song remains on Spotify, however. Earlier this summer, Prince put “Stare” on the streaming service. We thought it meant he was changing his tune but it seems unlikely now.
