Earlier this morning we had a chance to peek inside Canada’s first ever stand alone Agent Provocateur boutique on Bloor Street. The British brand brings their playful iconic lingerie, each named after the girl they were inspired by, and their signature high level of service to the Canadian market. While Agent Provocateur has long been sold at Holt Renfrew in Canada this location will offer the entire collection under one roof.
At home in Yorkville next to neighbors like Escada and Cartier, the elegant boudoir is a cozy 1,257 square feet that features 70s inspired mirrored displays accented by classic black and soft pink, that house their main collections, as well as classics, bridal, swim, hosiery, and accessories. The boutique will also carry Agent Provocateur’s limited edition Soirée couture collection which has been worn by likes of Kate Moss, Rita Ora, and more, as well as their four signature fragrances.
The shop has a very intimate feel to it, tucked away off the main part of Bloor with a small yet inviting store front customers will come to adore as they become regulars in no time due to the attentive sale staff who takes notes on each visit you make, wearing iconic pink house coats originally designed by British designer Vivienne Westwood in 1994 when founders Joe Corre and Serena Rees opened their very first shop in London.
We’ve been big fans of the brand before it was even available in Canada, making trips to their New York flagship every few years, so we’re delighted to welcome these Brits to Toronto and can’t wait to visit more regularly.
