Last night at the Coachella Music Festival lots of surprises were about. Gwen Stefani on stage with Pharrell Williams, Beyonce trying to keep up with Solange’s amazing quirky dance moves, Jay Z and Diddy came out with Nas, and to top it all off, H&M announced their next designer collaboration with Alexander Wang, followed by a star studded party featuring a 3D performance by Major Lazer.
It’s the first time H&M will collaborate with an American designer on their designer diffusion range. According to the press release the collection will feature apparel and accessories for both men and women and “Wang will propose a new take on the lifestyle product offering that goes beyond fashion.”
Wang had the following to say about the collaboration:
I am honoured to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.
Launching later this year November 6th, the collection will be available at 250 H&M stores worldwide.
