We’ve been trapped inside for what feels like eternity and with many spas and salons still closed or fully booked with the back log, we’re turning to at home treatments to to tide us over till our next Dermatologist visit. We’ve rounded up a handful of products, from peels to masques that are perfect to do over the long weekend to unwind and pamper yourself, all from the comfort of your bathroom.

SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Masque, $73

SkinCeuticals is one of my favourite skincare brands its no wonder so many celebs swear by it. Their Phyto Corrective Masque is not only potent, cool and calming but also bathes the skin in moisture. Made from a combination of concentrated botanical extracts, dipeptide, and hyaluronic acid, this intensive masque can be used daily to soothe after sun exposure, wind burn, as well as post treatment to reduce redness and discomfort when you’ve had laser, PDT, IPL or other in-office procedures. I recently started increasing my Retinol concentration and this masque has been a godsend in my routine to speed healing and reduce redness.

Hanacure All-In-One Facial Set, $110 (for four treatments)

This is the famed Korean skincare facial treatment that turns you into an old wrinkly lady, promising dramatic results. Popularized by Drew Barrymore on Instagram, Hanacure is a powerful multi-active treatment that makes your skin look visibly tighter, lifted, toned, and even younger after just twenty minutes. The CO2 OctoLift technology targets the most common skin concerns through an intense tightening and compression of the skin that removes impurities and leaves the skin looking smoother and more youthful.

Dermalogica’s first ever at home peel is the perfect effortless addition to your nightly routine. Use it every three days then transition to once per week to really kick start the results or use it once a week over a ten week period – either way you’ll see fine lines start to fade and a real radiance boost. What’s better than a professional peel? One that you can do at home, like this one from Victoria Radford. This pro level peel system combines a two in one Vibran-C Peel & Activator that work together to brighten dull skin, resurface, retexture and encourage collagen production. The kit is developed to lessen the irritation and dehydration that often occurs after a peel; antioxidants Vitamin C and Beta-Carotene work simultaneously to restore damaged tissue and brighten the complexion, while Sodium Bicarbonate and Lactic Acid gently exfoliate, and Sunflower and Carrot Oils deliver nourishing moisture.

Baby Foot Deep Skin Exfoliation, $32CAD

With more and more sunny days popping up this spring the time has come to get your feet ready for sandal season. That’s why we love the this product – it’s basically a peel for your feet! Just slip on the booties and relax for an hour as a combination of fruit acids and 17 natural extracts work to break down the desmosomes which hold the dead layers of dead skin in place. Depending on how much dead skin you have, you may experience peeling for a few days after the treatment and while that might seem a little gross, you’ll be reborn with new baby soft feet skin ready for strappy sandal season.
