Remember the time when the majority of the world was abhorrently against puffer jackets?
Fashion publications wrote articles on how to make the “Michelin Man”-resembling topper look “actually stylish” (ahem, guilty!), while editors, bloggers and street style stars alike stocked up on their Uniqlo Ultra Light Down jackets to layer underneath their much more chic wool and alpaca coats.
But somehow, in a strange turn of events, the puffer jacket is now — gasp! — cool (again?), with said editors, bloggers, street style stars and even It girls (we’re looking at you, Kendall and Gigi), donning the large down coats in all their glory.

And to be honest, we couldn’t be happier. There’s nothing warmer and cozier than a good old puffy jacket, and, when styled correctly, it can look pretty badass and cool, even moreso now in an ironic, throwback way.
