Italian concept shop 10 Corso Como will be opening a brand new location in New York City.

The original 10 Corso Como in Milan—opened in 1990 by editor, gallerist and businesswoman Carla Sozzani—was the first store of its kind, merging art and fashion to create an entirely new shopping experience. The formula has since been copied by many around the world, and 10 Corso Como currently has two other branches, one in Seoul and the other in Shanghai.

Speaking to Vogue UK about the project Sozzani has said:

“Between China and Korea, there is lots of collaboration with local designers … I think working with young American designers, not famous, could be very interesting. It’s nice to mix with people.”

The New York branch will be located in the Seaport District and is set to open in mid-2018.
