Woodkid and Nils Frahm have teamed up to compose a soundtrack for the short film Ellis. Slated for release on July 8th on Erased Tapes, proceeds from purchases of the mini album will go to the charity Sea Watch to aid those currently affected by the ongoing refugee crisis.
The 17 minute film was directed by critically acclaimed director JR and stars Robert De Niro walking through a desolate, frozen landscape of New York’s abandoned Ellis Island hospital complex.
