Get excited accessory lovers because WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie is opening their first Toronto boutique next month! As fans of the brand, and calculated way they do things, we are super pumped to be able to experience WANT Apothecary first hand at the shop which is set to open in a two story building on Yonge Street in tony Rosedale. Designed by WANT’s interior designer Maria Rosa di Ioia to resemble that classic apothecary style of boutique in a modern way.
The sleek space will curate many sought after brands, and feature an expanded women’s footwear section, as well as an apothecary counter showcasing high quality “effective” beauty and body products by much buzzed about companies like Aesop, Astier de Villatte, Ursa Major, Stop The Water, and the popular Byredo fragrances. The shop will also centre around a feature wall with the biggest selection of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie accessories in Canada, and stock other cult favourite brands like Filippa K, Arc’teryx Veilance, Michel Vivien, Maison Kitsuné, and Acne.
Co-founder Byron Peart says that Rosedale “with its unique shops, restaurants and local markets, this charming neighborhood feels like the perfect home for WANT Apothecary.”
