But last night Justin Vernon of Bon Iver went on “The Colbert Report” to help promote the album and kick off the week-long concert series, “Dr Pepper Presents StePhest Colbchella ‘011: Rock You Like a Thirst-icane”. The interview delves into Vernon’s influence, having mono whilst writing the songs and a whole lot of other awesome stuff a Bon Iver fan will truly love. The StePhest Colbchella continues with Florence and the Machine tonight, Talib Kweli on Wednesday, the Black Belles (performing with Colbert himself) on Thursday and Jack White will be featured in recurring segments.
