Super cool fashion brand Vetements has moved their offices from Paris to Zürich.
The brand has moved in hopes of finding a new perspective and a fresh start. Vetements is just three years old, but has already achieved cult status in the fashion world. Their head designer, Demna Gvasalia, is now also the artistic director of French fashion house Balenciaga.
Vetements’ chief executive Guram Gvasalia has said of the fashion capital:
“Paris kills creativity. Its environment with the ‘bling bling’ is destructive. I’m done with the whole showing-off in fashion and the superficial glamour.”
It should be interesting to see how the brand evolves in this new locale. We can’t wait to see what their new aesthetic might look like!
