I am usually not a fan of pre- distressed clothing. Jeans with rips in them, Varvatos Converse that look like they’ve been worn, but I seem to have fallen in love with these UNTOLD x Code; c Chukka Boots. For Fall/Winter 2012 artist and designer Yohei Watanabe, aka Code; c, has hooked up with UNTOLD for a pretty special collaboration. Best known for his sculptures, live-painting performances, 2-D CG work, and more Code; c has taken the beautiful, premium UNTOLD cowhide suede chukka and has added a splash of his colour aesthetic. Each pair of the boots was worn during one of Code; c’s live painting sessions, making each pair of boots a unique, one of a kind item. This collaboration will be available directly from Daylife’s online store, and will of course be released in limited quantity.
