Last night Holt Renfrew made a splash opening World MasterCard Fashion week in Toronto showcasing items currently in store for the fall 2012 season, marking this distinct moment in their 175 years as the Canadian destination for fashion. Designers featured were the trend-setting Kenzo, Jil Sander, Tom Ford, Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang, and Alexander McQueen, among others.

Canadian designers like Jeremy Laing, Smythe, Twenty Cluny, Canada Goose, Ela and Maryam Keyhani, naturally off set the decidedly high end collection of looks. Brendan Fallis and Hannah Bronfman provided a soundtrack, more on the dancier side of things, fading into Calvin Harris’s “Sweet Nothing” featuring Florence Welch for the finale.

Check out some of the key looks below and stay tuned for more!
