Toronto Fashion Week: Arthur Mendonça SS 2013

On Thursday night with Toronto Fashion Week in full swing, we made it down to the tents for Arthur Mendonça’s tenth anniversary show for the spring summer 2013 season.

Met by a palette of monochromatic white and black along with rich jewel tones and a touch of neon, Mendonça’s look for spring was clean, sexy, and well-tailored. Inspired by Japanese culture, the collection featured a structured kimono with pants, quite a few large sashes, and many minimal modern pieces.

The collections most striking looks of the season were a glorious magenta wrap dress with gold detailing at the end of the sash, a sheer silk top variation of the same design in muted yellow neon, and a printed strapless jumpsuit with matching blazer.

Take a look at some of looks below.
