Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bundick has announced a new album for his side project with The Mattson 2. Simply titled Chaz Bundick Meets The Mattson 2, the album is out on March 31 via Company Records. Bundick has linked up with psychedelic-jazz duo The Mattson 2 to create a mind bending experimental music project. According to the press release, the album “explores psychedelic, jazz, and improvisatory influences ranging from Afrofuturistic Sun Ra, to electric Miles Davis, to groove-fueled Serge Gainsbourg and The Zombies.”
