In an oddly festive twist of musical fate, the always progressively moody xx recently dropped by BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge and recorded a cover of WHAM’s “Last Christmas” as well as their Coexist single “Chained”. I will admit that I never expected to hear a Christmas carol come from The xx, and a really good one at that. Listen to both below.
