Famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is the focus of NOWNESS’ current behind the scenes video entitled ‘Reflections.’ Shot by Matt Black, the rare video interview follows Murakami through his current inspirations for the exhibition at New York’s Gagosian Gallery. He mentions being in a very dark place when he started creating this particular body of work, which he recognizes is somewhat misleading since most people think of his bright colourful as positive and happy.
