Sufjan Stevens Announces New Album ‘Carrie & Lowell’ + Tour Dates

Sufjan Stevens Carrie & Lowell

Sufjan Stevens fans can rest easy knowing a new album is finally on it’s way after the five long years following his release of The Age of Adz. Set for release on March 30th via Asthmatic Kitty, the album is called Carrie & Lowell which is apparently named after his mother and stepfather and features songs about “life and death, love and loss, and the artist’s struggle to make sense of the beauty and ugliness of love,” according to the press release.

The album will feature collaboration with Casey Foubert, Laura Veirs, Nedelle Torrisi, Sean Carey, Ben Lester, and Thomas Bartlett. They’ve also announced a number of tour dates as well.
