Sidewalk Hustle TV Visits Philistine Boutique in Toronto

Today we launch our very first fashion video series on Sidewalk Hustle TV, where we explore and learn more about our favourite shops. We decided to start with Philistine, a place we visit regularly to score a perfectly curated mix of pristine vintage and new apparel for men and women. Tucked away in Parkdale, they began throwing vintage pop-up shops back in 2007, before moving into their first bricks and mortar at 1394 Queen St. W.

In this clip, we meet owners and business partners Colleen Ramage and Aaron Doucet as they guide us through the philosophy behind their shop and the pieces unique to it, like silk and chambray button-downs for women, vintage sunglasses, custom made jewellery, Cambridge satchels, western collar tips, custom soled brogues, and new and vintage Woolrich items (to name just a few!).

Get a closer look in the shop, set to our favourite fall tunes from Grizzly Bear and Kindness, and check out some key items for colder weather as we gear up for the winter season ! Enjoy!
