It seems that every­where I go Gucci is fol­low­ing me. I recently got a new glasses, I had been hold­ing off because I wanted the per­fect pair. In my minds-eye I knew exactly what I want, I had even come up with some catchy descrip­tive phrases to drop when talk­ing about them. The day I went I knew exactly what I wanted, int he span of 1o min­utes I tried on 11 pairs, all of sim­i­lar style, and colour, but with just the slight­est, minute dif­fer­ences. The one pair I set aside and kept com­ing back too were just right. I knew as soon as I put them on, but I went through the motions of elim­i­nat­ing the options.  When I had exhausted the avail­able selec­tion, I put the pair I had set aside back on, looked in the mir­ror and said “I’ll Take Them!” and the deal was done. When I came to my sense from the adren­a­line rush of fast-paced glasses shop­ping I looked over the pair more care­fully and was shocked (not really) to see that they were Gucci’s.  The per­fect pair of glasses.  I say all this so that I can say, check out the Big Nike Low mak­ing use of the iconic Gucci green/red color com­bi­na­tion, and uti­liz­ing pre­mium exotic leathers on the upper and giv­ing the Nike logo on the heel a bit of a crack­led look. Cool.
