Savages shared a new track called “Adore” from their forthcoming sophomore album Adore Life, out January 22nd on Matador Records. Slowing it down a bit from previous releases “The Answer” and “T.I.W.Y.G.,” “Adore” and its accompanying video offer a more intimate vibe. As the title track for their highly anticipated, follow-up to 2013’s Silence Yourself, “Adore” sets the tone for Savages. With a piercing stare, lead singer Jehnny Beth asks “Is it human to want more? Is it human to adore life?” The haunting video was directed by Anders Malmberg (Mø) and designed by Tobias Rylander (The xx, Lykke Li, FKA Twigs).
