It’s music festival season across the world and I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming Hillside Music Festival. Going into its 28th year, this weekend-long festival in on Guelph Lake Island in Guelph Ontario has grown to be a top contender as one of the best outdoor festivals globally.
Known for attracting some of the biggest and brightest Canadian musical acts, past performers have included The Barenaked Ladies, Sloan, The Sheepdogs and many other notable acts.
This year is no exception! I’ll be heading there in a sweet Chevrolet Cruze, for my second year attending this wonderful festival. For me it’s a weekend long ode to all things I love about music and how to do a festival right. I’m really looking forward to seeing Zeus, Rich Aucoin, The Wooden Sky, and Maylee Todd perform on Guelph Lake Island.
