Camp Wavelength 2015

Music festival season continues in Toronto with Camp Wavelength happening later this month at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island. Taking place from August 28th to 30th, Toronto’s non-profit, DIY music community hub, has brought us probably one of our cities most unique and immersive festivals specifically tailored to “people who hate festivals” says founder Jonny Dovercourt.

In combines everything you’d have at both summer camp (not including drinking) as well as a music festival, including softball, synchronized swimming, morning run club, Capture The Flag, storytelling, games and of course the music and art component. The festival features a 95% Canadian line up of performances from the likes of Holy F#%k, Doldrums, The Wooden Sky, Moon King, Prince Rama, Do Make Say Think, The Weather Station, Loscil and so many more, with MC Maylee Todd hosting the entire weekend

Our new Toronto festival is for grown-ups who remember how much fun they had playing games at camp and who also appreciate amazing music and the arts community. And, due to our incredible location on Toronto Island, there’s a limit to how many people can attend, which will make for a unique and blissful weekend escape to another world.
