The Art Gallery of Ontario has been throwing one of best fundraising galas for over a decade, and with almost 2000 attendees, the event is literally Massive.

The party is directed by different artists each year. They choose collaborators from the deep pool of Toronto’s art scene, and together they transform the AGO through installations, interruptions, and performances. The Broadbent Sisters, who have shown work in previous years, took the lead. Their theme, Midnight Massive, imagined the gallery as a masquerade ball, transformed at the stroke of midnight.

Sponsorship was mostly tasteful. This Mac booth had masquerade makeovers, among other things.
