PARIS FASHION WEEK BEAUTY: MAC FOR LEMAIRE SPRING SUMMER 2016

Carole Colombiani, lead artist for MAC Cometics created the beautiful 70’s inspired, dream-girl look using earth tones for the LEMAIRE SS’16 runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

To complete the face MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation was applied with a 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush for sheer coverage. MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer was applied as needed to cover any imperfections. To add colour to the cheeks, Carole used the MAC Pro Studio Finish Skin Corrector in Terracotta. The Groudwork Pro Longwear Paint pot was used to contour the cheeks and eyes.

To create the earth tone smokey eye, The Groundwork Pro Longwear Paint Pot was applied all over the eyelid as aa base. A New Brew (New for SS’16) was added to deepen the eye. Taupe powder Brush was pushed on over the eyelids to set the shadow. The lashes were curled, and clear brow was applied to create a wet lash look. MAC Pro Black Black, Chromographic Pencil, and Squid Modern Twist Kajal Liner were used to add depth to the eyes.

For the lips MAC Lip Conditioner (a must-have) was applied to hydrate the lips. MAC Pro Skin Corrector in Terracotta was pressed onto the lips with a finger for a sheer tint of colour. Finally, Chili Lipstick and Back in The Swing (New for SS’16) were used to deepen the tones in the lips.
