Earlier today Uri Minkoff unveiled his latest fall winter 2016 collection at New York Men’s Fashion Week. The presentation took place at the New York Live Arts theatre in Chelsea and had a somewhat informal in tone, bordering on experimental. Models arranged themselves in a stance not unlike Uri himself on the stage, casually composed, some talking to each other, in front of a light installation.

The collection featured sophisticated looks offhandedly layered up with accessories (which have always been at the core of the Ben Minkoff brand), on top of bomber jackets, blazers, peacoats, and swishy rain jackets accented with stripes of cobalt blue. Circular and lunchbox style cross body handbags were featured in krinkled metallic leather as well as smooth soft tones, with weekenders, folios and backpacks in plush pebbled army green leather.

Cropped trousers were worn in each silhouette, finished off with plastic wrapped ankles and shearling lined slip on moccasins and loafers.

Socialites, fans and fashionistas alike gathered on stage and in the aisles of the theatre, each politely taking turns at close ups of each model. Uri was in attendance greeting his admires politely throughout the presentation, among which we spotted Nick Wooster as well as Uri’s sister Rebecca Minkoff.

Take a look at at our shots from the presentation below following a quote from Uri summarizing the season.

‘Conflicts and revelations: What’s your path?

Darkness and conflict reveal light and color, yielding
to strength of direction, change and optimism.’
