Today SBTRKT dropped a brand new track via his Soundcloud account saying:
back in the studio. working towards eps/ album/ etc…. something new – no plan for it – just thought id share
The track is titled “gamelena” and features a dark techno-esque beat with a lot of chirping and “jungle” sounds (sorta). What the track is really missing is a little Sampha vocals. But considering it is literally a raw beat, we’ll let it slide. Moreover, it’s definitely good news to learn that SBTRKT is back in the studio working on the new musical endeavor and we can hardly wait to see what the new “eps/album/ etc” sessions turns out to be.
