Sidewalk Hustle

As all of you out there know, I am not the biggest fan of Lady Gaga, so it is with great reluc­tance that I post a video of hers. How­ever, after watch­ing this video I could not resist. I am not a big fan of this song, but the video rocks! It is creepy and uncom­fort­able to watch and is an awe­some exam­ple of music video cin­e­matog­ra­phy.  I have actu­ally watched the video sev­eral times before post­ing it, and even as I write this the song is play­ing and there is some­thing in it that I find worth not­ing. Before the song gets to the bridge, which is your stereo­typ­i­cal top 40 in sound, the rest of the song as a feel sim­i­lar to Ger­man metal band Ramm­stein, with a bit of Mar­i­lyn Man­son in the mix.  In watch­ing the video you can see these influ­ences as well. I think Lady Gaga, just gar­nered some respect from me.
