FINALLY!!!

Thank you to pitchfork.com for finally letting us poor schlubs know who is opening up for Jay Z on his upcoming North American tour. I was wondering this for sometime now myself and this very topic has been discussed extensively around the water-cooler since the concert was announced. Well here it is kiddies, and it’s not in the least bit disappointing, N.E.R.D. and Wale, with Jay’s new out of no-where protégé J. Cole rounding out the bill. Not a bad choice with N.E.R.D. who recently did opening-act duty for Kanye West on his Glow in the Dark tour. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a “I Just Wanna Love U” guest-vocal cameo from Pharrell. This will be great for D.C.‘s raising star Wale who has been tapped along with Kid Cudi as being the next generation of hip hop, although he has no arena experience under his belt so we’ll see. I am most interested in seeing what J. Cole has to bring to the tour.

There you go, hopefully you all have your ticket already and if not, this should be just about all it takes for you to rush out and get one.
