Oh joy! My favourite R&B singer turned 70’s style R&B singer Raphael Saadiq is back with the second single/video from his forthcoming Stone Rollin’ album due in stores May 10th. The single “Good Man,” stars Chad Coleman of The Wire and actress Yaya DaCosta, best known for her appearance in America’s Next Top Model season 3 and The Kids are All Right. The video was directed by Isaiah Seret, who speaks of the video as a film, rather than traditional music video, and Raphael appears as the narrator, the limo driver, Good Man. The video takes place in the early 1970s, and shares the story of a relationship, both in love and the falling apart. At times this video is pretty difficult to watch. Regardless… watch it!
