You have got to give Lupe Fiasco a ton of respect, he does the one thing that no one else (mostly) does in the music industry, let alone the rap game, speak the truth. He is a very smart guy and his new single and video is a deconstruction and impact on the use of words and how they are used as weapons to brain-wash the masses, specifically in regards to race and gender. The video is a powerful visual supplement to the already powerful song and shows us just why the record industry hates this guy. Watch Lupe’s “Bitch Bad” below and think about something for once.
